I think it is not stupid topic but wonderfull topic !!..
we all feel like that when playing the penumbra, game make us to think like ' if it was real, I would just sleep on that seat and watch tv' - ' I would use my kung-fu against tuurngait' - ' if I were Tom Redwood, I would get a way to go exit room instead to stay at room.. ' bla bla bla..

In overture... i would stay for a while in the room that is after you jump the little wall that is electrifided (electrifided (?))
And in BP... i would stay in a vent for a while...
