The poll is redundant but the thread is original, to my knowledge.
Another vote for Floppyjaw for Grunt.
I never saw a brute when I played so I name them Loch Ness.

Before I looked up the names of the monsters when I was playing my friends and I just labeled them as so:
Grunt: Meltyface/fais
Brute: Mr. Trousers
Lurker: Damn Splashing Thing

I'm sure you're supposed to see him in the sewers, but I was extremely cautious and did not. Actually, I think the grunts in the Choir are brutes but I didn't notice the difference.

First encounter is in prison, the beginning at the other side of the hallway, there is a locked door, when you go near it a brute will kill someone at the other side.
Next meeting is in morgue, the monsty breaking the door is brute.. I met him/her/it there..
I thought that it was the coolface and didnt hide, that was a mistake. I started screaming and my family woke up and ran to my room xD
Then there is the sewers, if you didnt see him before
