RE: Modelviewer crashes when I import my own Model - Viperdream - 03-23-2011 Yeah, I'm also using 2 textures for it. I'll see what it gives with the .dds RE: Modelviewer crashes when I import my own Model - MrBigzy - 03-23-2011 The Gimp plugin had an exe that you just copy to the plugin folder. But uh, why is there 2 textures? Do you have 2 parts to the model? RE: Modelviewer crashes when I import my own Model - Viperdream - 03-23-2011 Yeah, the roof itself and the stones. Do I have to do them apart? RE: Modelviewer crashes when I import my own Model - MrBigzy - 03-23-2011 Yeah, one would be named, for example, roof_top.dds, and the other roof_stones.dds. Assuming the submeshes are named top and stones. RE: Modelviewer crashes when I import my own Model - stonecutter - 03-23-2011 yeah do them apart and i think it will work ! Its quite better cause you can combine every part with other parts to create different looks like i created a roof and a chimney and i can combine them in the editor how i want ![]() RE: Modelviewer crashes when I import my own Model - Viperdream - 03-23-2011 Can I put them back at Static Objects? Because I don't really get the folder which is meant at the tutorial RE: Modelviewer crashes when I import my own Model - MrBigzy - 03-23-2011 Did the textures come out at all? Did the model viewer work? RE: Modelviewer crashes when I import my own Model - Viperdream - 03-23-2011 I've put all the files in the static_objects folder, in a custom folder. Still getting the crash... RE: Modelviewer crashes when I import my own Model - MrBigzy - 03-23-2011 When you export the model out of blender though, is there only the .dae file or are there textures with it? If no textures are coming out, then you're probably not linking them to the model correctly. I use 3ds max, so I wouldn't know how it works with blender. RE: Modelviewer crashes when I import my own Model - Viperdream - 03-23-2011 Only 1 .dae file. But I don't think Blender also exports the textures with it. |
