Well, there's certainly a teleportation in Amnesia, so I'm sure you could wiggle around ways of making it possible. Maybe.

Just an idea that might make things A LOT simpler for you: Make a Source: SDK Mod opposed to making a Full Conversion mod. Because importing the textures and objects from Amnesia into Source will be tons easier than to code your own Portal gun.
