Well thank you, it works now =D
It's probably because I updated to v1.2 and continued the game, not sure though.
The game still slow at long rooms but is playable in other places.

Yes, that v1.2 update is responsible for many problems like this. Everyone who updates at v1.2 MUST start a new game. If he continues with the old save there is a big chance he'll encounter problems in the future.
