RE: Issues with activation code - DieterWeber35 - 04-06-2007 When I buy a game and download it in a downloader thats LOGED IN to my profile that I bought the games with, I shouldn't have to activate anything. They really need to change the way they do things. The business has servers running 24/7, They always have someone there. They make money from servers being up. It should be fixed soon enough. RE: Issues with activation code - mogwai77 - 04-07-2007 Hello Frictional Games: Count one more customer who has just spend 20 EUR for beeing kept out by a stupid copy protection :( Apparently the DNS nameservers do not answer for tages-protection.com and thus the site is unreachable. I've written a mail to Frictional Games and their ISP hoping that they at least answer tomorrow. Now I guess it's time again for a good old paper book :-/ frustrated, -christian- RE: Issues with activation code - TheCollective15 - 04-07-2007 mogwai77 Wrote:Now I guess it's time again for a good old paper book Actually, that is a great idea...I have yet to read the Communist Manifesto for school...I take it that you downloaded Overture just today? RE: Issues with activation code - DieterWeber35 - 04-07-2007 Gamersgate should be just like Direct2Drive, There should only be a Key, not an internet a activation. It's very annoying working all week to come home to programs that can't activate. RE: Issues with activation code - Luke - 04-07-2007 Same problem for me to, really bugging me after putting up with the slow download. RE: Issues with activation code - Thomas - 04-07-2007 I am afraid there is nothing we at Frictional Games can about this since we do not have any access to GamersGate. Please contact their support at: support@gamersgate.com And I hope they will answer as soon as possible. I am very glad that you decided to buy our game and it feels bad that you are not able to play it ![]() RE: Issues with activation code - Thomas - 04-07-2007 I just checked the paradax forums and found this: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=282560 Quote:Explanation: This is most likely due to a javascript setting in Internet Explorer. Could any one check and see if this is the problem? Also might be possible to find more help here: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=332 RE: Issues with activation code - H4nky - 04-07-2007 I ran across this thread on gamersgate help forum. Apparently, they had problems with their server a couple of days ago, but it was corrected. My conclusion is that their server is being a stuck up once again. http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=296732 |
