I backed-up back then, and after the change I had no problems running Amnesia. Now I do.

Try this:
First delete the file clientregistry.blob. Load up STEAM. If it still doesn't work then uninstall steam, delete the steam folder and start over. In sort, do a clean reinstallation of Steam and try again.

I will transfer my Steam folder to a bigger HDD and re-install the games there and we'll see.

You should reinstall steam and not just move it around. That will cause problems.

Yeah, I meant re-install at a different HDD, not copy paste the folder.

I re-installed everything, including Amnesia at another HDD. Still the same problem. It's probably an issue with Steam then, I contacted their support. Thanks for the help!

Steam Support still hasn't answered. Great, I can't even play the games I paid for.
But it should be a Steam issue right? I re-installed it again and again, and then on a different hard drive. It seems it's either a problem with Steam settings or the files are being downloaded corrupted again and again.

Can you try to launch the game in Administrator account? Not run as administrator, directly login into Administrator account and launch there.

The account I'm using is the Administrator account.
