If it's a laptop, brand and model will help.

Download http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html this and tell us what it says on graphics tab.

Now my internet is bugging out...I can't click links, it causes the internet to crash, so I just typed the url manually, but when I got to "download" it crashes again, and entering the download url manually dosn't seem to go along well...........

And uh...I'm using a desktop. Windows XP.... is there anything else I can do?...

EDIT: I ended up right clicking and saving target as....... CPUID is installing right now. I'll edit again with the graphics you asked for.

EDIT2: on the graphics tab, everything is blank!! except revision...it says 2, and next to it is the Intel logo.

what does this mean??!

Are you using Internet Explorer by any chance? That seems a bit odd... Have any antivirus software?

Yes, I'm using Norton antivirus. I don't think it's being caused by a virus, I think it's connected to how many things I've downloaded and uninstalled today in an effort to get Amnesia working :'(

No offense to Frictional, I mean, It's probably all my computer's fault, but I don't think it should be this difficult just to get a game that I PAYED for, to work.

RE: What the hell do I do... - Tanshaydar - 07-22-2011

Probably Frictional thought it's not that difficult to install a driver.
It'd be great if you could give us your graphic card's model, and I'd gladly search for a driver for you.

I completely understand that. And as I've said, I'm terrible with computers. Sorry for the trouble ;(
could you tell me where to find what model my graphics card is?

Start->run dxdiag
Copy and paste it here.

RE: What the hell do I do... - Excel - 07-22-2011

It won't let me copy or paste so I'll just type it all manually.........

Intel GMA 950
I think that's the graphic card.
With the drivers it can barely run the game as I'm not sure if Intel has released new drivers for this series.

RE: What the hell do I do... - Excel - 07-22-2011

Is there any way to do it?....
