RE: Graphics problem - Snowzor - 08-25-2011 okay, i'll try this now. here is the hpl file Nope...... this doesn't work. RE: Graphics problem - Tanshaydar - 08-25-2011 I don't think your graphic card is able to run the game. RE: Graphics problem - plutomaniac - 08-25-2011 Actually now it is even worse than before. It detects only an OpenGL 2.0 Intel card. At first it detected a chipset 4 family one with OpenGL 2.1 . Look, if you do have an ATI card you may be able to play the game. If not, then you cannot play it with the Intel one for sure. So, can you show me a picture of the computer in device manager or dxdiag that shows the AMD card? RE: Graphics problem - Snowzor - 08-25-2011 This is what you're looking for? RE: Graphics problem - plutomaniac - 08-25-2011 Normally, as said by Intel, your card supports up to OpenGL 2.0 when the game requires OpenGL 2.1. Try the things below but most likely that won't make any difference. Go here: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/graphics Let it detect your embedded graphics card. If it does not report version 14.42.11.5355 (or 6.14.10.5355) then download this: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19413&ProdId=2991&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%20XP*&DownloadType=Drivers and follow the guide on how to manually install these drivers despite what your system manufacturer suggests here: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-030331.htm RE: Graphics problem - Snowzor - 08-25-2011 Neah, i think i'll give up. Thanks a lot for your help. |
