he has the best understanding of melodies and harmonies that ive seen out of a pop musician in a while which is only aided by the fact that his production is fucking phenomenal. like you said all of that makes it very easy for your average listener to get into but it still has enough depth and complexity and thought put into it that draws in a lot more avid music listeners. plus a lot of his social commentary is a+
