RE: Screenshot criticism thread - FlawlessHappiness - 05-11-2014 (05-11-2014, 10:06 PM)i3670 Wrote: Trying to create a psychiatrist's office. I'm not so sure about the shadows nor the light at the windows. 2 chandeliers seems like too much luxury doesn't? Remove the one above his desk. Instead move the chandelier that's left, a little closer to the table. Now, his desk would become pretty dark, so you need some kind of lightsource to light it up. A lamp or a candle would do the trick. Unless you want the place to be dark, maybe those windows should emit more light? Try it out and think about the result. Otherwise it looks really great! RE: Screenshot criticism thread - i3670 - 05-11-2014 Thanks for the feedback Spoiler below!
Got the gent to show up, was for some reason not appearing in the last one. The lamp is to the left of him, it's from Penumbra. For the overall lighting, I'm thinking that it's morning so even though the light is bright it's not intense. Should I perhaps lower the angle of the light because the light would come in with a shallower angle? due to it being early. RE: Screenshot criticism thread - FlawlessHappiness - 05-12-2014 You can always try and see which one you like the most. But great! I like it! RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Alex Ros - 05-12-2014 Yup, looks cool, I'd love to confirm that too. FlawlessHappiness ideas seems to be working real nice. Another one tiny thing are carpets on the floor. Is it right that you have one big carpet and a smaller one right under the table? Carper on carpet is kinda strange. Maybe it might be less strange if you could make that red big carpet a lot smaller. Maybe. RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Red - 05-12-2014 Lol , I'll try making Pong in HPL. I know I have coding hell ahead, and I doubt my suceeding, but I'll still try, it's better than nothing, at least I learn scripting some more. Wish me luck. Spoiler below!

RE: Screenshot criticism thread - FlawlessHappiness - 05-13-2014 Muuuuch better! Really! I really like it now! It looks very realistic! RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Skyy - 05-14-2014 The guy standing there scared me! Haven't seen the gentleman being used in a CS, let alone a screenshot yet! |
