RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Daktoa - 08-02-2014 You should make a monster appear whenever a monster spawns and then it'll keep spawning monsters and the real terror will be trying to exit the game before it crashes your computer. RE: Screenshot criticism thread - victorkim890(KimmyChimmy) - 08-02-2014 genius RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Gilligan's Hell - 08-02-2014 (08-01-2014, 11:43 AM)Echohalls Wrote: Edited it once again... Impressive as fuck Echo! Even for a member who's only been using HPL2 for a couple months... you never cease to impress. One suggestion, add a bit more to the left, probably some tables or furniture. Looks great still ^^ RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Daktoa - 08-02-2014 I tried making the outside of the building that you can see from the window, idk how to make outsideness RE: Screenshot criticism thread - CarnivorousJelly - 08-02-2014 Looks cool, but you're definitely going to need to have ground/sky around it (instead of a black hole :p) Inside, I'd suggest a bit more detailing - static dirt decals are amazing for that (especially under the legs of furniture - since it would be harder to dust there) I also have something to post... not exactly a screenshot of a map, but Spoiler below!

Tell me what you think... Theme is: mines and caves! ![]() RE: Screenshot criticism thread - CarnivorousJelly - 08-02-2014 ReadingNotAllowed - The monster's blocking 40% of the view because he's what I'm looking for feedback on, but here's a picture of the room without him in the way LikeABoss - Cave needs more detail - dust in the air, rocks scattered on the ground, belongings of previous occupants, particle systems for drips of moisture from the roof, puddles (possibly). I'd also suggest making the lights dimmer, but with a larger radius (you could use flicker to make them change colour slightly, like real light from a flame). RE: Screenshot criticism thread - LikeABoss97 - 08-02-2014 Well, of course it needs more detail... it's not finished yet! Btw thank you for the tips, they helped: ![]() Is there anything more that I can improve! Throw some critiques at ME! Btw thank you for the tips, they helped: You deffinetely need some fog around there. Use the one from level settings, set the color to some kind of dark-blue and change fog's end from 10 to 20, 30, or even 50. Also, few cobwebs and dirt piles around the area would be a nice touchup too. |
