My headphones. They are a must have item for me. I have a laptop, but the touch pad is too sensative, so I use a wireless mouse, which has saved my hide a few times.

I'm yet to play Amnesia, but i'd imagine that it would be hard to play without Headphones as my family always watch TV really loud and it would interfere... Also, I'm going to try and make sure that I only play this game when I'm in the dark. Having lights would ruin the experience probably.

I need either a mic(Talking to yourself helps a lot) or a friend.Doing the Let's Play of Amnesia alone was fucking terrifying.I was soooo glad when i completed it.

Can't play it (the main story) without someone to share the experience with anymore. Played it too much for it to be fun enough alone anymore. Like all I do when playing amnesia is seek out monsters and toy with them. Sometimes that leads to death but really, I've gone past the point of immersion for Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I prefer custom stories (really really good ones; the the most common crap out there) for their intuitive puzzles and things like that, simply because monsters don't scare me anymore, and the most common "unexpected and fast-acting jump scares" are just silly.
