RE: OpenAL Audio Update / Feedback - zerxen - 03-19-2008 @Urkle: Thanks for the heads up. I am seriously considering to stop playing and wait for it! Keep up the good work. It's needed and appreciated RE: OpenAL Audio Update / Feedback - Ozzie - 04-05-2008 I also await the patch. I have to say though that I don't have sound problems (after editing this one config file), but graphic problems, which make the game nearly unplayable und surely unenjoyable. Oh, and the game freezes most of the time when I open the menu in-game. RE: OpenAL Audio Update / Feedback - skirst - 04-24-2008 Switching to OpenAL-soft I hope RE: OpenAL Audio Update / Feedback - Urkle - 04-24-2008 skirst Wrote:Switching to OpenAL-soft I hope Yeah.. I wish I knew about openAL soft sooner. It solved a great many things. RE: OpenAL Audio Update / Feedback - DSS - 04-24-2008 Ah awesome - when I bought Overture a couple of months back I had the crackly sound problem and solved it with a .asoundrc file specifying a larger buffer (which also solved some issues I was having trying to share the sound between ut2004 and amarok, though something has changed on my system since then and that workaround stopped working). Good to hear that a fix is going into the game |
