Just saying.There´s always certain threads that keep poping up; threads with LP:ers talking about their channels, threads about how many LP threads there are, threads about how many FCs there are etc. I think it is good that the jumpscare threads are hot topics atm. It´s how politics work, there won´t be any change if you only mention something once or a few times, you need to talk about it often. But still, I see your point.

Honestly, look at The Dark Descent. How many poofers can you recall? Like one, maybe two (I only ever encountered one), but that one poofer was done well enough because TDD had such a focus on atmosphere, so it wasn't a problem. If you have to toss numerous poofers into a story and then have to add a real monster in order to try and generate anything "scary", you probably aren't building your atmosphere/scares correctly and should just throw up your hands and fill it with more poofers and TNGs.

If you find this too annoying I can always delete this thread if you so desire. However, I am slightly deviating my conversation from something totally related to TNG and poofers to other topics in order to help me develop my first custom story and to keep a good conversation flowing.

i think poofers are the most annoying, they make me run around, trying to dodge them, then i realise it was a poofer and that i wasted time
the reason i kinda like teleporting naked guys is because, when having played as much amnesia as i have, ( 67 hours ) since i bought it august-september this year, the standard " scares " of amnesia, wont scare you anymore, so the only thing that scares me are those really dumb jumpscares
