I know that Penumbra had Dogs, and Penumbra was a Lovecraftian inspired game, and we are about to see pigs in Amnesia 2... so do you think we'll see any cats (since you brought it up Wink )?

Welcome to the internet, you must be new here. Sarcasm is something which does not exist within our realm of magical wonder.
It does. True sarcasm is hard to detect even in real life; saying the opposite of what you mean in a highly inflected voice is only one form of it. While it can indeed be effective to go about it like that, there is so much more to it. It is an art and as in all arts subtlety is more often than not welcome, and it certainly is in this case because it is even funnier when the other person isn't in on the joke.
