RE: penumbra.bin - Permission denied!? - Urkle - 02-26-2008 Pressing F12 will take a screenshot in game and save it to the .frictionalgames/Penumbra Overture/Episode1 directory. Also I am wooing on an update for Linux and Mac with betas hopefully by the weekend that should fix ATI issues and OpenAL sound issues. RE: penumbra.bin - Permission denied!? - Ozzie - 02-26-2008 Okay, I'll wait then. ![]() RE: penumbra.bin - Permission denied!? - Plague_CZ - 07-17-2009 I'm not trying to dig up old topics or anything, but the right answer to the first queston - why does it not run and say no permissions on some partions is this: you have mounted the partition with "noexec" option (thic is forced by "user" or "users" mount option). RE: penumbra.bin - Permission denied!? - ilidur - 10-30-2010 I installed both games (amnesia and penumbra) in home/<my_user>/games and the whole folder didn't get permissions... i had to use sudo chmod +x -R to make it work. P.S. before this it detected that the folders for each game were binaries. P.P.S because they were binaries i could not even open the manual |
