Lies again. That solely depends on the length of the project, and the capabilities of the modder. There is no set time; there are far too many variables to take into consideration to just slap a time on it and say "if you work for x amount of time, it will be good".
Why is it so hard to be a wise-ass nowadays?

Certain people are a bit too... nope, not gonna say it. Would ruin my reputation. Trying to be awesome all the time.

I just played it...with a lot of work, it could be quite good. That darn spider kept jumping on me, though -_-

Don't give the project up. You won't get any better if you don't practice Smile

Well really depends on quite a lot.
1. the previous experience of the creator (non hpl2 experience)
2.how many people are working on the project
3.how often you work on the project
4.how much time you are willing to put into beta testing
5.the size/difficulty of the project
of course you can go a lot more into detail on each of these 5 things i just mentioned, but lets not do that.
To sum it up
I would say that you should at least spend 1 month on your project unless it is something small and special.
spending 10 months is quite a lot to expect for a freetime project that people put their time into even though they arent getting any kind of payment.
Its great to see you being dedicated enough to spend 10 months on your project, and you can be proud of yourself for that, just dont force your expectations for yourself on others.
Feel free to reply if theres anything you disagree with here Wink

I know it is hypocritical for me to jump on someone because I take something too literally, but it's just the way you said that first statement. You can't take something so arbitrary like the variety of human intelligence and slap on "at least x amount of time" as though there is any sort of systematic way of learning the HPL2 engine.

C'mon Corinthian, you know I love you <3
