There are only like 3-4 custom stories that are good. The rest are all crap.

I think we all know that the vocal part of his fanbase(Aka the ones everybody hates) are basically going to ignore the message in this video, and continue being the unintelligent throng that they have proved themselves to be.

My point was if you seriously think there's only that many good custom stories then you obviously either hadn't played many custom stories or you hadn't actually taken the time to play the ones that are good. Because there are a lot more good ones than that.

What he means is that there are plenty of great custom stories to be found on the forums -- underneath a layer of junk but still plenty! Yes, people here will regularly stress the percent of what's bad to what's good, but that is to be expected from anyone frustrated with this crap. I would assume that you are doing this also, if not for you being new here. (So what Kman said is right; you haven't been part of this community very long.)

There are a lot of above average custom stories, but only a handful come close to the atmosphere of the original game. The mods will either be done well in the level editor (i.e. detail/level design) or done well in the hps file (sounds/events), but very few can do both perfectly.

Most of it was wonderfully executed, but I felt the story was way too predictable, especially the "twist" at the end. I didn't care much for the voice acting either, didn't seem very expressive to me. Generally, the pacing and atmosphere was really well done though.

I've been lurking the forums for a long time now(few months after amnesia came out), and only recently made an account. I only stopped posting because the forums were boring.

Anyway, recommend me some good custom stories, Because I'm convinced there are only like 4.
