RE: Are you afraid of the dark? - Bridge - 11-02-2012

I'm only afraid of what might be lurking in the dark. The most intense moment in my life is when I had to walk around in the center of Asuncion at 1 AM to try and find a cab to get home. You really can get killed or at least mugged by wandering around on your own at that hour (and Asuncion is way down there on the list of "dangerous cities"). I'm not afraid of the dark itself though.

I was afraid of the dark when I was younger. My fear level would start increasing if I would be surrounded by darkness, but once my "night vision" came, I was a bit more relaxed, but it still kept me alert.

Now, I only fear it if I played something really scary (or disturbing), or if I read a Creepypasta.

I don't fear the darkness.
Rather, I find myself most comfortable when it's dark. I love taking walks through the city at 2 or 3 in the morning, through the dark ravines and black alleyways. Something just so serene and peaceful about it.

"Will it be he who conquers the darkness? Or will the darkness swallow him?"

Hhahahaahahah I always think there is someone downstairs (when I go there for food at night) or at the loft or in the bathroom(when I take a shit)*at night.
Mostly just panicly look around Tongue
Never turn on the lights cause my eyes are just used to the darkness so I can pretty much see everything and when I turn on the lights everything seems darker when I turn it off so no I don't Tongue

You're also in Canada, so you don't have to worry about getting mugged/raped/killed. You'll probably shake hands and shoot the breeze with a person that walks by you at that hour.

The Red PS2 Led. It was so fucking creepy. [/spoiler]
Good god, you're right. Hell, any LED light's in pitch blackness scared the crap outta me in the dark. Well, mainly except for green ones, they're tolerable. But my TV's power light scared me when I was a kid.
Spoiler below!

Wow, I do the exact same thing.

When I cannot sleep, or my parents and brother are not at home, sometimes I get dressed into outdoor clothes and take a refreshing walk outside. I usually walk around my old school I used to attend when I was in kindergarten and in grades one to five.

It gives me that feeling of nostalgia and peace.

I know that feel.
