Not as good, kinda looks alittle (this is kinda the wrong word to use) stupid. Not stupid as in it looks horrible, it just doesn't look too natural o_O

like i said, not really feeling like pointlessly investing too much D;
just wanted to make a point of how sorta it could look, cuz i couldn't really see much option to show a creature behind him.. and if thats what some people want, this is to show him how sorta it will be positionally looked P:
might even decline the idea as i think they should.

Those are good
I like the blue better than red. I feel that red betrays the atmosphere of the game. Most of the time, its dark, or pitch black. The shadows and light\darkness or lack therof is a big part of the game. (I always thought) so it should be reflected in the cover.

A weird idea suddenly entered my mind
Maybe the three Episodes (I read that Penumbra will become a trilogy) will be coloured in the three "base" colours, Red, Blue And Green.
We have red now, and you have shown how good blue would work too.
Red was based on a flare, a red one, like the ones in the game, blue might then be an ice cave or something similar, and green... well, whatever green stuff might be, or maybe shouldn't be, but is, beneath the surface of Greenland
