Too lazy to search shelf for doom3
But now that you bring it up...i've been experiencing trouble with Quake3 ...it's not going ingame anymore....dosen't even show the intro....used to be ok few weeks ago cuz i played it to get some old memories....
Reinstalling Q3....Doesnt work anymore >.<
Installing Doom 3... zomg it doesn't work.....now it's sure it is a OpenGL prob...

Hopefully someone else at this forum has a better idea.At least it was not in the game, so hopefully you will be able to play soon.

Have you tested to uninstall and install the game again, just to make sure nothing went wrong the first time?

Same here, nothing happens when I try to run the exe.
This is on Vista64 with the 101.41 drivers with a 8800 GTX. (Doom3 runs fine)
edit: The Game is purchased via gamersgate.
The last demo ran fine btw (yes also in Vista).

its probably a vista prob
last time i triedi got 5fps on quake1 and when i rotated a viewport in cinema4d my drivers would crash
the drivers just suck atm

I guess we cann't use the demo exe? I just tried the episode 1 demo again, and it runs flawnessly.
What's so different with the final build now as far as gfx or sound related?

the engine has been optimized (for more complex geometry i think)
