RE: New AAMFP Screenshots AND RELEASE DATE + PRE-ORDER! (16.8.2013) - DavidS - 08-17-2013 When my wife and my friends have played through it (no sissies allowed) and PewDiePie has made his thing, I will give a little party with ale and pulled pork and we`re watching the lets play madness on a beamer. Gonna be nice. RE: New AAMFP Screenshots AND RELEASE DATE + PRE-ORDER! (16.8.2013) - sasaluvsamnesia7 - 08-17-2013 I just pre-ordered! I'm so excited I feel like I'm about to cry cause I've had one long tough week. Thank you chineseroom and FG! RE: New AAMFP Screenshots AND RELEASE DATE + PRE-ORDER! (16.8.2013) - GrAVit - 08-17-2013 Yeah I didn't expect such high system requirements. Anyone else think they might be a bit exagerrated? It's still basically almost the same engine that ATDD had. The only thing I could imagine lagging would be like hundreds of particle affects at the same time. RE: New AAMFP Screenshots AND RELEASE DATE + PRE-ORDER! The have probably made the FOV way bigger to account for the large open outside areas. Still exaggerated though. RE: New AAMFP Screenshots AND RELEASE DATE + PRE-ORDER! (16.8.2013) - Tesseract - 08-17-2013 I haven't seen anyone say anything about this yet but have any of you received an email confirming your free copy of AMFP? My brother told me he got an email and sure enough when I checked my junk mail there was a message from Jens which reads: Hi, you are getting this email as a notice that you have won or for any other reason been promised a free copy of Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs. We saw that there were questions on the forum about who was promised a copy, so felt we needed to let you know. Please spread the word that you received this email, so those that did not will know the unfortunate truth. Your free copies will be sent at a later date! Before or on release I assure you. Kind regards, Jens Please don't publish my email address... I enjoy a life free of spam and want to continue doing so! RE: New AAMFP Screenshots AND RELEASE DATE + PRE-ORDER! I can confirm that I had gotten this email. RE: New AAMFP Screenshots AND RELEASE DATE + PRE-ORDER! (16.8.2013) - RawkBandMan - 08-17-2013 Pre-Ordered on Steam this morning (just after I found this thread). Patiently awaiting release now! And yes, I think that the requirements were either typed wrong or are exaggerated to some level. RE: New AAMFP Screenshots AND RELEASE DATE + PRE-ORDER! (16.8.2013) - Paddy™ - 08-17-2013 Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but there's a (human) guy clearly visible running across a walkway in this screenshot: Original Brightened Who dat? RE: New AAMFP Screenshots AND RELEASE DATE + PRE-ORDER! (16.8.2013) - Deep One - 08-17-2013 Just a civilian running away from a house fire? RE: New AAMFP Screenshots AND RELEASE DATE + PRE-ORDER! (16.8.2013) - Paddy™ - 08-17-2013 I also see a street sign on the right. It says "Dorset Street". This is a now non-existent street in the East End of London where two of Jack the Ripper's victims met their demise, a street which was known as "the worst street in London". It's now a carpark haha. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorset_Street%2C_London http://casebook.org/victorian_london/sitepics.w-miller.html |
