But how did you found that? Dxdiag says Audity, Dell has audity in this model and by downloading the drivers locally I saw the specific chip (advanced MB).
1) Go to http://www.driveridentifier.com. Install it and run it. When the browser opens copy and paste the link of the results so that I can give you the newest version. It is a very good program and it uses hardware strings to find your card.
2) You may need to use the have disk method for the driver I gave you. We'll see...

Found a page referring to ctaud2k.sys error messages.

They are referring the blue screen problem as a hardware failure. :/

Btw, I edited a little-bit temporarily your signature and removed two // so that the images will not try to load every time. That's because they cannot appear and thus they lag the pages you post a lot.

I'm not sure if this is normal, but I started the installation about 45 minutes ago, and it's STILL on

I don't think this is normal at all. Well maybe if you had a computer from 1995 that would be true but I don't think that is the case here. What can I say...leave it more 15 more minutes to see if...but I think it is stuck. We can try by using the have disk method...
