But as I like to help underprivileged people I am going to elaborate why being against it is useless:
  1. This thread is aimed at the developers
  2. I wrote it here for them to see that there are people out there who want this. And I was proved right.
  3. It is easy to implement once you have the source code. If you can code something like Amnesia, you are able to code this patch easily.
  4. It is about creating an optional feature so you can use Amnesia with your 3DTV but also can avoid using it.
  5. Nothing is lost by having that feature. You can only win. No sane person would refrain from that.
  6. People who don't like 3D are meaningless because they are free to not use it any time.

You're not going to get the Devs to change anything with an attitude like that, and if it was only aimed towards the the people working at FG why didn't you just send them an email or a PM? You posted the thread on a public forum, meaning that anyone can comment on it and express their opinions on the topic you brought up in the OP. Aside from that, even though it is very easy to make it playable on a 3D screen (if the information you're giving is correct that is) Frictional probably won't end up adding it anyways. They haven't released a patch in over a year and I doubt they would just because a few people requested for it to be playable on a 3D TV. Like I stated before, people have been requesting for it to have a console port for ages now and yet that hasn't been released and almost certainly never will, so I highly doubt they'll add a 3D port considering the demand for that is much lower.

Alright. So far I haven't gotten a reply, yet. Maybe they're already in development and tell us when it's ready. I am sure this will boost sales among 3D-TV owners.

Hang on hang on... the release of a PC game with 3D features will boost the sales amongst people who own a 3D-Tv? I doubt that. FG had huge economical problems when they made Amnesia and were very close to shutting down. Now, Amnesia have been a huge success but I don't think FG is going to want to spend time and resources on a feature that doesn´t ensure further income from their product, which by the way, they haven't patched in ages.

You really don't seem to realise, you're not getting a reply because it's not happening. I highly doubt FG has the time/money to waste on such a feature.
