I haven't been able to try out the Linux version yet, but this would have been my preference. This was tested on a Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (32bit, zh_cn: 旗舰版) system instead.

gbraad, can you try and leave the two msvcr/p100 dlls in the folder, and only remove the xinput and see if that is enough to make the game work?

no need saw the other thread Smile

I also have to remove the MSVC files. I tried xinput first, but it actually started to complain about each file when trying to launch aamfp.exe each time.

Note: I made a mistake in the other thread by not reading carefully enough. I had to remove both sets.

Can you try to install

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 for 32bit
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632 for 64bit

@jens I would expect the installer of AAMFP to make sure both DirectX and the VisualC++ redist are installed at first-time launch. This actually happens for a lot of games on Steam. Not sure if this actually happened, but somehow I do not remember seeing this.
