RE: Ask Anything About SOMA - Damascus Rose - 09-17-2015 That's good to hear, maybe I won't have to turn off the notification after all RE: Ask Anything About SOMA - TiManGames - 09-17-2015 Will the game have moments when you pick up something and then monster appears? If you did, what made you decide for a male protagonist? It was based a lot based on the interactions between characters. Since a lot of our dialog comes without faces, having a male and a female voice makes it easier to tell them apart. Then we discussed how we wanted to distribute the sexes. You can even make a mod that changes the shaders that the game uses! You can just drop any files you want into the mod dir and it will replace the ones the main game uses. Yes, you can also add more features on top. Modding and adding extra functionality is far easier and more advanced than it has been in the past. You can basically go back to the days of total conversions if you like RE: Ask Anything About SOMA - Noisecode - 09-17-2015 Not necessarily a question about Soma, but .... now that Soma is nearing a release will Frictional games begin working on a new project? As with so many other things, it will depend on how successful SOMA is. Would be fun to add VR support just so people can make VR mods, but have to see how much time we have and what the team feels like.
