RE: Modelviewer crashes when I import my own Model - MrBigzy - 03-24-2011 I dunno why'd you do that nkmol. Why don't you just add the dds texture directly in the material browser? For 3DS max, I just go to maps, then I pick diffuse map (texture). I open up the dds texture with it, and it gets added to that material. Then I drag the material onto the model. You won't see it in there though unless you link it properly, but the materials on the model. Then export.
