RE: Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Discussion Topic Part 4 - Ghieri - 09-16-2013 So, do you think Frictional has to beat MFP in both visuals and horror? Or just horror? RE: Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Discussion Topic Part 4 - Kreekakon - 09-16-2013 I wonder if Frictional will ever make any games which are more "gamey" perhaps even with less of an emphasis on plot. RE: Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Discussion Topic Part 4 - Ghieri - 09-16-2013 Thomas Grip appears to be against "gamey" attitudes toward horror. However, I'd like to see a non-horror "fun" game by Frictional some time. RE: Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Discussion Topic Part 4 - Streetboat - 09-16-2013 Why does every game that comes out have to "beat" the previous game? Isn't that limiting ourselves a bit, creating a dead end? For some reason Klei quickly comes to mind ![]() RE: Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Discussion Topic Part 4 - Cuyir - 09-16-2013 I hope they take notes from TCR on their writing and on visual and environmental storytelling, something which was mostly missing in TDD. Unless it's something completely different in which case there isn't anything to beat so to say ![]() RE: Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Discussion Topic Part 4 - Streetboat - 09-16-2013 (09-16-2013, 06:18 PM)Ye Olde Aldi Wrote:(09-16-2013, 06:15 PM)Streetboat Wrote: Why does every game that comes out have to "beat" the previous game? TDD and AMFP are both amazing games in their own rights. No. TDD was way better in that aspect as well. |
