RE: Update almost ready! Brave testers needed! - plutomaniac - 12-26-2013 Personally I haven't tested the tools (old or new) but both Amnesia and the Pigs run perfectly fine with Windows 8.1 x64. So I suspect no problem at all with Windows 8/8.1 x86/x64. RE: Update almost ready! Brave testers needed! - Kullin - 12-26-2013 Well since I have so problems with objects rotating and monsters not moving I figured there might be a problem with windows 8. But thank you ![]() RE: Update almost ready! Brave testers needed! - Zokrar - 01-01-2014 Wonder when it'll be released. Been 'almost' ready for quite a while RE: Update almost ready! Brave testers needed! - Zokrar - 01-01-2014 Pretty sure the full release will be cross platform. RE: Update almost ready! Brave testers needed! - Alex Ros - 01-05-2014 If I have a clean install of TDD do I need to install usual HPL Editor (http://wiki.frictionalgames.com/hpl2/tools/start) or is this new one updated is including all parts of the older editor? RE: Update almost ready! Brave testers needed! - DnALANGE - 01-05-2014 (01-05-2014, 08:08 PM)Alex Ros Wrote: If I have a clean install of TDD do I need to install usual HPL Editor (http://wiki.frictionalgames.com/hpl2/tools/start) or is this new one updated is including all parts of the older editor? "Just to be safe install the normal editor as well" <-- I did and never have problems. IF you want to use MFP-assets you MUST install the MFP patch. of you don't the editor"s" will crash while loading some assets. RE: Update almost ready! Brave testers needed! - Alex Ros - 01-05-2014 Oh and another one question. If I am reading everything right then Collada exporter have been updated too. That's great. My English is quite fine but sometimes I am translating not quite right, so that's why I asking. Sorry for disturbance. And so here is the question. Which version of Maya can I use with updated Collada exporter? Are 2014 or 2013 versions compatible? Or should I stick to 2011 version which was fully compatible with TDD as I remember? With this update, the .FBX files work too, so there's no need to use collada for Maya users ![]() (You can use the .FBX format for models) Wow, Alex Ros, it has been a long time since I haven't seen you around ![]() RE: Update almost ready! Brave testers needed! - Damascus - 01-06-2014 I'm sure this has been answered before at some point in this thread, but I haven't been able to personally find the answer: Will this update be automatic for all owners of Amensia: The Dark Descent? If I'm going to put these new scripts in my upcoming custom story, should I link to the update when it is released, or will I not have to worry about it? |
