I'm not arachnophobic but this spider is bad news. It can kill you if you're bitten and if it doesn't it causes a 4 hour long, very painful erection that results in permanent irreversible impotence. It's called a Brazilian Wandering Spider and it's found in Central and South America, mainly Brazil as the name implies.

Yep it's scary that it can do it, but the picture itself is not scary Wink Though i don't like spiders

I guess you're right, but the picture doesn't necessarily have to be scary for the things displayed to be scary.

I think its sometimes known as the Banana Spider too.... I remember reading about it when I was like 10 Tongue

That spider came to Denmark once, (where i live) by being inside a pack of bananas.

It likes to hide in banana bunches. It doesn't eat bananas though, which is weird.

Yes, that is how it must have got the nickname!

Any type of chemical warfare terrifies me. I have a phobia of this kind of thing and movies and games with it in them doesn't help. The thought of just walking the city when I start coughing and sores start breaking out on my skin just sends a chill down my spine.

Picture shown is the effect of mustard gas which was used during World War I as a biological weapon if I'm not mistaken.
