RE: Truly scary pictures - Bridge - 11-13-2012 I'm not arachnophobic but this spider is bad news. It can kill you if you're bitten and if it doesn't it causes a 4 hour long, very painful erection that results in permanent irreversible impotence. It's called a Brazilian Wandering Spider and it's found in Central and South America, mainly Brazil as the name implies. The thought of just walking the city when I start coughing and sores start breaking out on my skin just sends a chill down my spine. Picture shown is the effect of mustard gas which was used during World War I as a biological weapon if I'm not mistaken.
