RE: Hermoor's models - Hermoor - 06-04-2011 Quote:The horse model isn't as good as the concept imo, I know it's a lot harder to model but it looks like a mask in the modelThere is theoretical design and then there is what actually works, what is practical. It would be possible to get it exactly like the reference. But I had to follow the skeleton of the grunt inside the game. So I couldn't get the hunchback look to him. Also Some body parts on the grunt model are longer, like his legs for example. Also the reason the horsehead might look as a mask is because it isn't hunchback. The head isn't as big as in the reference either since I had to make it about as big as the grunt head. Many cool things could be done on paper, but when it comes to modding some things has to be taken into consideration. Also it might be hard to see but there are stitches merging the horse head and the human body. Might add to the scary look inside the game, instead of the oh look a guy with a mask. Anyway I want to make something, the armor could be done...although a bit painful...since it's metal. But i need a good reference. Also I will only make it if someone will use it... Quote:well it s visible in model editor but it is still not visible in game :/ i have to find out a way to make it work...I leave the link then if you can't get it to work. Btw, if it's not visible in the game. It has to be something wrong with either the texture or the skeleton. You have to parent the skeleton to the model. I have no idea how to do this, but if you haven't done that...that is what is wrong. RE: Hermoor's models - Hardarm - 06-04-2011 Sorry, but the jaguar (panther) doesn't work both as an entity and as a static_object .... ... help please? ![]() RE: Hermoor's models - plutomaniac - 06-04-2011 (06-04-2011, 04:50 PM)Danarogon Wrote: i still don't understand xD!!! were did i learn the drawing? i don't get it xD He said: "From where did you learn to draw like that?". That's what he means but in an ironic way. He doesn't really want to know where you learned. Something like a complement. The game loads files that are only present at the game directory although the loader can do both. RE: Hermoor's models - Roenlond - 06-04-2011 How did you learn to draw it? Is probably his question RE: Hermoor's models - Danny Boy - 06-04-2011 (06-04-2011, 05:58 PM)plutomaniac Wrote:(06-04-2011, 04:50 PM)Danarogon Wrote: i still don't understand xD!!! were did i learn the drawing? i don't get it xD it was already at the entities folder since the start... and it does not work :/ it is visible in model editor but not in the viewer soo that is strange :/ lol ok now i got it ![]() ![]() and for the guys that will say "OH but he said a rhetorical question! you didn't need to awser" well this is a friend's awser: http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/5005/lollvv.jpg RE: Hermoor's models - SLAMnesia - 06-08-2011 wow thats a fantastic picture of the horseman http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-8198-post-74025.html#pid74025 I hope the animations have him hunched over like in the pic. If he was completely erect- http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/808/pppu.png/ (like he is here lol) that would make him less scary, and maybe if he had a limp to his step or something idk its up to the animator RE: Hermoor's models - plutomaniac - 06-08-2011 (06-08-2011, 05:48 PM)SLAMnesia Wrote: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/808/pppu.png/ (like he is here lol) H horny monster, great!
