Sounds like you didn't extract the files correctly. The error is saying it can't find the main file in the config folder so it doesn't know what to launch. Where exactly did you extract your files?

Redist folder. Maybe because i've downloaded Amnesia... But there's the file on the config folder, i checked it.. Undecided

I've been having problems getting this started ever since I tried "merging" the files. Maybe your instructions were meant for Windows user b/c I just don't see how I am supposed to be able to drag and drop all those files in without getting the replacement warning. But that was an easy fix as all I had to do was extract the files by hand. No biggie.

But the game won't launch. At first I got the error that it couldn't find the .exe. Well dur there are no .exe's on macs, but I assumed it was trying to launch through the Amensia.app. (Using Steam on Mac) So I went in and edited the .bat to

"Amnesia.app config/ttp_main_init.cfg".
All it does is pull up the Launcher. so for kicks I than changed it to

"Launcher.app config/ttp_main_init.cfg"
but I get the same thing. It pulls up the launcher which just opens the normal Amnesia in either case.

So now I'm out of ideas. Help

Well, .bats do not work on Macs, and the Full Conversion tutorial gave no instruction on how to make this work on Macs. Anyone have any pointers? I know there has to be a way to make an Apple-friendly .bat file.

All the file needs to do is run Amnesia.app with config/ttp_main_init.cfg.

OMG I GOT IT!!!! Okay I had to do this with the La Caza Full conversion too! Here's what you do if your in my situation,

After extracting all the files to their correct corresponding destinations:
Launch Steam
Right click on Amnesia The DD
Click Properties
Click Set Launch Options
Paste in config/ttp_main_init.cfg
Hit Okay and start it up like normal

Hope this helps other like me Big Grin

Gah! Unfortunately now the suns up and that really ruins immersion for me. I'll have to wait until tonight to give it a good play through. Sad

The thing is, the tunnel/cave won't lead back outside the map. I just bump into a wall.
