RE: Screenshot criticism thread - CarnivorousJelly - 02-25-2013 (02-24-2013, 07:18 PM)Robosprog Wrote: Again! *whips slaves* As you wish :p The composition is really nice and I like the idea, but the billboards are waaaaaaaay too strong for an area with such clean air. Needs fog - or at least more dust (not light dust particles); I found area_fog_falling looks relatively decent to place in and surrounding the billboards (before they hit the ground). Just regular area_fog works for surrounding it and making the air look dusty. I collected some picture examples of "billboards" just as examples. Example I, Example II, Example III, Example IV TL;DR - Billboards - more dust or dim 'em. Alright, time for me to stop procrastinating and actually do my chem homework (insert rolled-eyes here). RE: Screenshot criticism thread - PutraenusAlivius - 02-27-2013 Bump. This thread doesn't deserve to die. So, i gave you examples of my lighting in my cs, A Forgotten Memory. Spoiler below!
Spoiler below!
Please tell me what i must do to make it better. RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Rapture - 02-27-2013 You can start by turning off Hints when your taking Screenshots. The rooms could use a little more grime I suppose, and more props on the shelves and wine case. How do i disable it? (What you're probably saying : "WAHT A NEWB QUESTION.) RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Adrianis - 02-27-2013 The fog in that first pic is kinda green. If it's supposed to be like that then, sorry looks kinda weird at the moment RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Rapture - 02-27-2013 (02-27-2013, 03:41 PM)JustAnotherPlayer Wrote:It's in the options on the first tab I believe, theirs a "Disable Hints" check-box somewhere.(02-27-2013, 03:37 PM)Rapture Wrote: You can start by turning off Hints when your taking Screenshots. Their is also a "Disable Cross-hairs" to help with screenshot immersion. And lastly if your doing a screenshot in the dark, turn off the sanity drain (via script) so their isn't any annoying darkness animation isn't going off. RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Hardarm - 02-27-2013 Just one for you guys, tell me what do you think RE: Screenshot criticism thread - WALP - 02-27-2013 (02-27-2013, 07:00 PM)Hardarm Wrote:speechless. RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Adny - 02-27-2013 Looks pretty dark, but from what I can see looks good RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Wooderson - 02-27-2013 (02-27-2013, 07:00 PM)Hardarm Wrote: Looks great. |
