Perhaps we should make it an unwritten rule. Don't keep it on the OP, and if it looks as if someone is doing this, then leave it unless at the offerer's discretion?

We monitor that thread closely so these will be deleted in time. However, open for suggestions. I don't like this 1 post hit & run thing as well.
