I never loved "escaping" based horror games. But i like amnesia.

Whem I'm being chased, my adrenaline blows up.

Example, in a CS, I saw something started to broke the door. Then I started to run, even I didn't see the monster.

being chased is scary but being killed by a monster is even more terrifying

When I died, it was often really liberating for me. The chase was over and I can take a deep breath before I go on.Smile

I react about the same way SeaNanners reacts when he is close to death/getting chased in the GMod games... my face gets too close to the screen, I tense up too much and I feel that strong sense of peril coming from behind me. But I erupt into laughs (sometimes) after getting caught Tongue

I was very careful in TDD. I managed to get through most of the game without even seeing a monster since I'd hide myself as soon as I heard the spawn moan and didn't come out till the music went away. |D

However, I did have a few terrifying moments.

Spoiler below!
The Prison
A the end of the prison level, where you break the lock. As soon as I broke it, I heard the terror meter and started to freak out. I kept fumbling with the damn lock and door whining out, "Oh god, I can't, I CAN'T. I'm gonna die ohhh god im gonna die." I quickly devolved into tears (really). :B Luckily I got the door open and closed it right before the monster got me...

The Sewer
The part where you have to sneak around the Brute is ALWAYS scary. The first time through I accidentally hit a pipe with the rock I was holding. I was chased a little bit, but I managed to hide in the alcove area within the square. I crouched there and waited a bit. I went to stand up, but pressed the space bar, so I JUMPED. I was too petrified to move, and as soon as the monster came around the corner... I shut off the game. C8

The Choir
That whole bloody place can go fuck itself. I've never even actually been chased, but there's been close calls. There's so many spawns in there... it turned me into a wall hugging, blubbering mess.

Yes, I am a big crybaby when it comes to TDD.

Same, I allowed myself to breathe if I got caught. The worst part for me was the initial realization of being seen and pursued.
