Glad we are on the same page. All this fluff is interesting but if it means that in certain situations people can't play their games it's worthless…

Windows will never prevent you from playing your games ever. You don't own the OS but you can do whatever you want with it, whenever you want. If the rare (almost impossible) internet blackout strikes (or your ISP just fucked you over and you temporarily don't have internet) and you want to make the most of it with a nice evening of Fallout or something then you can. It doesn't matter if most people have internet most of the time, it makes no sense to aggressively assume that everyone does all of the time if it is completely possible to create an offline mode.

I wasn't intending to buy the new xbox, but this is just ridiculous...

RE: Xbox one - Wooderson - 06-15-2013

Saddest part is, a lot of people don't get this sort of information before its too late.

RE: Xbox one - Yuhaney - 06-15-2013

Then who's fault is it if people just blindly buy stuff without doing proper research first?

RE: Xbox one - 7heDubz - 06-15-2013

simple problem solve. BUY THE DISK.
mabye im weird but i get attached to my games, also just to stop diss getting scratched and bringing them to friends houses makes no sense. i mean how hard is it to carry a 1/8th of a pound game (if that) to a friends house. really. And how hard is it to be careful with your disks and not lose them. Seriously? no you just want people that get banned and paid for games to pay for them again after getting a new account. oooh marketing. i dont even plan on getting a ps4, my money is better spent on getting a new PC.

RE: Xbox one - Ghieri - 06-15-2013

My solution is going to be:

1. Buy a windows 7 disk.
2. Put that on every future machine that I can.
3. ???
4. Profit.

It'll be my big "Fuck you" to microsoft.

You don't seem to understand that the game is tied to your xbox-account even if it's a disc. DRM.
