No news, but consider the following: 1: If you had human co-players, your story would have to be able to sufficiently scare the additional humans. 2: The puzzles in the story would have to be designed such that one person would never be able to solve it. 3: The area would have to be large and the story flexible, considering the players might split up to cover a larger area. Amnesia Online?! - Doomtodeath - 02-27-2013 I know this is probaly never gonna happen, *which sucks so bad* But amagine how cool it would be to play amnesia or penumbra online?! It would be so epic! Example: START AMNESIA Single player-Multiplayer Multiplayer= Versus *one plays as monster other daniel* Or co-op. I know this is almost impossible, But i want this so much!!!!!!!! It would be so epic! I feel like that would be a good idea, kind of like an online horror hide and seek, but I feel like that would be the day Frictional sells out. They're doing really well as is, and I don't think they need to give in to trends to make a killing, I mean, look at the attention A Machine For Pigs is getting! RE: Amnesia Online?! - Danny Boy - 02-27-2013 Oh God not this again. Ok I'll keep it simple for you... Short answer to to your ideas is: No Long answer is: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! RE: Amnesia Online?! - Crafted - 02-27-2013 Moderators, lock this one! Co-op Play - Ultimapwn - 03-20-2013 I read a recent article from cracked.com about games that will never happen. I really like the concept of making a horror multiplayer game but not like the current multiplayer games that are there now. I'm not saying horror games like Killing Floor, L4D series, Dead Space 3 and the like, where players should stay together to win. I want to see a game where both of the players will start at two distant points and will finish the game/round when they finally meet. They both help each other by solving puzzles like for example: Player one has to open a box that can only be opened when player 2 finishes a certain puzzle and inside that box is a key that will open doors of the two different rooms the players that are in. This is a very great concept since both the players has to co-operate without actually seeing each other in-game. They can only communicate through radios that require batteries that drains every time they use it( I know it's over kill but it adds to the tension). Leave your comments and suggestion below because I really want this to happen, it's just a great concept Here's the link to the cracked.com article: http://www.cracked.com/blog/the-7-best-ideas-video-games-that-will-never-get-made_p2/ |
