The machine in the video could be some kind of a window to an alternate/potential reality.

It could also have a mind and desires of its own; maybe it could even create a reality/future that it finds satisfying, and somehow force the realization of the reality it wants.

Probably because the game is not really an SCP clone at all.
I never said that either. I know nothing about actual game yet so I'll wait with conclusions. Only assumptions atm.

I don't mind if the game is on consoles as well but if in any way there are concessions so it'll work on consoles (that negatively affect the PC version) then that's it, Frictional is dead to me. Nothing has been announced yet however, we'll have to wait and see.

I looked at the video Frictional Games uploaded and it looks quite interesting. However the idea of it sounds similar to something else.

I don't want to jump to conclusions, but the video seemed like something out of The SCP Foundation and the game SCP Containment Breach.

I guess the game won't be focused on just the containment of strange entities, but we will see.

Found the flickering pictures in the scripts. First one is probably the lower half of the face, and the second was some messed up text that I arranged the best I could.
