ya thats is what is annoying everyone here :/ if they haven't released the dlc for non steam users because of the linux and mac version is not yet finished.... well why have they then submit it to steam users already? making the rest of us wait wend they could have made it for every one and we could all be happy now?!
Because the expansion was part of the Portal 2 ARG.

Valve made Steam, Valve made Portal 2. Without Portal 2 Justine wouldn't even have existed and it is therefore released exclusively to Steam early on. Frictional probably made a deal with Valve to keep it to Steam, we should be glad that we get to see Justine at all

Justine could've stayed exclusive to Steam. I think we should be thankful to Frictional Games that they'll release it for all non-Steam users.
They have every right to make it exclusive, while there are too many exclusive DLC's out there. Dead Money for Fallout: New Vegas came out to PC and PS3 more than one month later than Xbox 360 release. Also, there are pre-order exclusive DLCs too. If this were to be a pre-order exclusive DLC, would you whine again that they're releasing it for free to users who pre-ordered the game?
They said they'll release it. Couple of days, one week, one month, or whatever. They're giving us a free DLC and what kind of attitude they're getting back?

because of Portal 2. Portal 2 is a steam only game and thus Justine was firstly released for Steam. I do agree though that one month is a lot of time but also consider the fact that these guys at frictional games are only five. Thank you FG whatever you do...

No, they are getting late porting it to Mac an Linux versions, that's why.

yes, that's true. Although, I'm a Windows user I have to admit that it is really impressive releasing a game for Windows, Mac & Linux. So...let's wait...

Wait just HANG ON, That's why I hate Valve - exclusive exclusive Steam-the-greatest-and-best-profitable-thing-money-money blah blah blah. I have Steam client myself, and could've just upload Amnesia to my Steam account but I won't do it - it would felt like throwing a valuable thing into a waste bin...(I don't like the forever-binding-to-your-account perspective).
