RE: SOMA Discussion Thread - Cuyir - 10-02-2013 (10-02-2013, 06:50 PM)Googolplex Wrote: Can someone please confirm the PC version? Errr what? Of course it'll be for PC. Doubt FG would be able to release it on PC AND on next gen consoles. They don't have the experience, connections, money and, most importantly, interest. TCR's doing Rapture for the PS4 because Sony talked them into it. I still say Rapture will be a timed exclusive. It'll be on PC after a few months, calling it. As for release date, should be sometime in 2014, one of the blogs mentioned it. This was why TCR did AMFP, so FG could work on this. Valve time. Reading the platform: since Sony mentioned it on PlayStation tweeter I guess it is fairly obvious that the game is coming on PS4 (and *may be* as backport for ps3 but doubt that). The only question remains - will it be first-party (exclusive release, but it does not exclude other platform release "later") or third party (parallel release/release after PC version). You say of course it will be for PC and then you say you doubt they release it on PC and consoles. But it's already confirmed to be released on PlayStation. So I want it official now. Such speculations are not funny. It really makes me worried. RE: SOMA Discussion Thread - Cuyir - 10-02-2013 (10-02-2013, 07:26 PM)Googolplex Wrote:(10-02-2013, 07:00 PM)Nuits Grace Wrote: Errr what? Frictional's next game is already CONFIRMED to be released on multiple platforms? Source? All I said is that TCR's Rapture game is a timed exclusive in my eyes. Huh.... Well i'll be darned. Won't make any assumptions about this till the version (s) are confirmed. Valve time. True, but bear in mind that AAMPF was barely two years in development. Considering Soma, and the fact they started the massive teaser campaing, they surely have a product that is more and less nearing it's end. Valve time. AMFP was a completely different story. |
