I have been distancing as much as I can on news about this Super Secret Project (SOMA) and I wish to know just a few things. I understand that this is connected or otherwise being worked on the HPL3 Engine so: ![]() RE: SOMA Discussion Thread - MegaScience - 10-03-2013 Interesting. According to the Javascript, only refreshing the page updates your Recovering bar. All the floating parameters are defined in the last packer statically, instead of being called up from various places. I wonder why they'd require us to reload when it did it automatically earlier... I guess because of the morons opening the page so many times, probably idling some, etc, using their own auto-refresh against them... RE: SOMA Discussion Thread - Retomathic - 10-03-2013 i may dissappoint a few with this but it seems like its ps4 http://www.officialplaystationmagazine.co.uk/2013/10/02/amnesia-dev-working-on-sci-fi-ps4-title-soma-releases-tedious-live-action-trailer/ official playstation magazine, I am not saying it is confirmed exclusive but it seems like well we know about the tweet, but one thing is a theory what if this IS a exclusive since playstation is tweeting it, trying to show, LOOK we're getting a horror title RE: SOMA Discussion Thread - Sampyli - 10-03-2013 (10-03-2013, 11:43 AM)Retomathic Wrote: i may dissappoint a few with this but It's not an exclusive, jesus .. It's going to be released on PC and PS4 RE: SOMA Discussion Thread - Paddy™ - 10-03-2013 Whoever wrote that article is an asset to the Sony corporation. It hasn't yet been told that both platforms are going to be supported, though I do think it's highly probable it will be on PC. RE: SOMA Discussion Thread - Ossie - 10-03-2013 Here's a polite request to Jens: please can put us out of our 'misery' and tell us if there is definitely a PC version on the way and if this will be released before (or at the same time) as any console versions? This information may shut us up a little. :-) RE: SOMA Discussion Thread - sasaluvsamnesia7 - 10-03-2013 I don't play a lot of games, but I do support FG and have played both TDD and AMFP and loved both. I've not played Penumbra, but if this game comes out for PC I'd love to give it a shot! The trailer I just watched the other night, and it freaked me out. When she says, 'Great. I think it just died on me,' I was half-expecting the long wire behind the computer-like object to reach around and kill her. However, I'm glad that didn't happen, and really found the ending interesting. So far, the only platform that has even been hinted at is the PS4. There's been absolutely no mention of PC, and no one from Frictional has come forward and denied the claims of it being a PS4 exclusive. So, until we get official confirmation, it's best not to make assumptions. Sony has been doing their best to get as many indie games as exclusives as possible, and they already snapped up Everybody's Gone to the Rapture from The Chinese Room, which everyone was certain was going to be a PC game. While I obviously hope it'll be on PC, I've seen too many devs lured in by bags of Sony/Microsoft cash who have abandoned PC, or at the very least made PC a secondary concern. RE: SOMA Discussion Thread - Zgroktar - 10-03-2013 The thing is, Sony likes to brag, that's why we didn't get any PC confirmation, it goes without saying. |
