DLL errors - parklinkindavid - 09-07-2011
I get this error:
Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module ig4icd32.dll at 0023:093E3D92
What is this and what can I do about it, I just downloaded it from Steam.

1) What operating system do you have? Also 32-bit or 64-bit?
2) Is it a laptop or a desktop?
3) Attach me here the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder

If you install this driver http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=20037&ProdId=3231&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%2C%2064-bit*&DownloadType=Drivers
it should work.

The above should work but you may also encounter problems later on at a specific place or places in-game. If that happens, nothing more can be done. It is your graphics card that can barely run the game. Make sure all the settings are set to the lowest.

what is the exact model of the laptop? Does it also have an AMD dedicated graphics card?

What model exactly? Check your laptop or the bottom of the screen or underneath. It should be something like Toshiba Satellite A665-S5183X for example.
