RE: game crashs after radio messages - Luis - 06-03-2007 Just a guess... Could you please try to turn the UseThreading parameter in the settings.cfg file (located under $HOME$/.frictionalgames/Penumbra Overture/Episode1) to false, and tell us if it helped? RE: game crashs after radio messages - Urkle - 06-03-2007 Also, can all users having this issue can you please list your Distribution w/ version, along with your Processor type. Also can you list what version of libc you have. (ls -l /lib/libc*) I'm trying to find any comminality with this issue. Libc: /lib/libc-2.5.so EDIT: Changing UseThreading to 'false' *seems* to have worked! I just listened to two full radio messages so this may be a solution. I don't have time to check it more now but I'll let you know how it goes later tonight! I got through the very last radio messages of Red without "hanging"... My System is gentoo-2007-1 (or something) kernel-2.6.21 Pentium M 1,6 GHZ (laptop) libc-2.5.so |
