Amnesia is the first one I reached till the end; I tried Resident Evil in first, but not my kind of games. I played Amnesia with a friend of mine and it was pretty cool. So yeah its my first horror game and I'm kinda proud of it.

Nah i played FEAR for some years ago but that wasn't scary at all. So yeah, Amnesia: The dark descent maybe was my first horror game after all

The Dark Descent wasn't my first horror game, but my first horror adventure.
I started with Resident Evil 2 in 1998 (if I remember correctly), tried Silent Hill, F.E.A.R., Condemned, then Dead Space until I realized all those more and more action-based games don't really frighten me anymore (although I still love most of them).
When I read about Amnesia, it sounded quite interesting (I never heard about the Penumbra games, though). Bought it, played it, loved it. After that I bought and played every Penumbra game, too. Well, okay, not every single one. I still need to give Requiem a shot but I'm not going to be hasty about that.

First in a long time. I played Silent Hill 2 partially way back in the day, but it was too scary to my 12-year old self. It kept me away from the horror genre until I manned up and played Amnesia, which turned out to be a great decision. Now I can't wait for AMFP =D
