Game Crashes in specific room in Wine Cellar - DonSkoD - 11-05-2011 Hi Frictional Support Forum I have an annoying problem with my game. It have played fine, just until i get to a specific place in a room in the wine cellar. INFO: my PC is an Lenovo L520 Laptop (5017-W2H), and im not sure if my gfx-card is supported.. but anyways - it runs just fine until i get there.. Its the first room om the right when you get down the stairs. When i get in there, and walk left from the oil-refill barrel, the game crashes and i get this error log. I hope you can help RE: Game Crashes in specific room in Wine Cellar - plutomaniac - 11-05-2011 Go to question 2 to learn how to update your drivers: http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-11183.html If you bought the game from steam, do a file integrity check. RE: Game Crashes in specific room in Wine Cellar - DonSkoD - 11-06-2011 Hi I tried to run integrity check, and it completed. When i try to update driver it says - your drivers are up to date. I have some more info, which might help: The room where it crashes is the room where you pick up a bottle of Calamine, and the roof collapses in front of the door - problem is: i dont see the bottle of Calamine.. i just see a spot og light where it should be.. so maybe some files are missing or something? RE: Game Crashes in specific room in Wine Cellar - plutomaniac - 11-06-2011 That's why I suggested the file integrity check. Do the drivers update again using the have disk method: http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-9942-post-89162.html#pid89162 RE: Game Crashes in specific room in Wine Cellar - DonSkoD - 11-06-2011 It works now.. I tried the "update driver", and "search for software in this location", which reported "your drivers are up to date". Bummer made by me >.< I then tried the "Have Disk" method - which of course worked ) thanks for your assistance. Now i can play on, and get spooked crazy |
