tbh who wants to make sense when you can make stuff that looks like this

Epic! Reminds me of Dishonored!

that looks pretty good. I Like to see outdoor environments in custom stories.

Robosprog, it looks like you have used dirt piles and stones from the library. Well be honest it's kinda sadomasochistic work, astonishing yeah, but in fact truly sadomasochistic. Would not it be a lot easier to make a new terrain model and a couple of stone assets? Don't get me wrong, everything looks nice, but I really can't understand why to torture yourself, whilst you could make that pastoral easily with new models. And if you can't model by yourself why not to ask someone to help? Or it's supposed to be something like a challenge to use only original Frictional assets? I am just confused completely and curious.

Few shots of a new map, around the back of an estate. There's no model for the light there yet, hence the floating orb!

Stop being so perfect and amazing D:
Spoiler below!

Actually don't stop, I'd cry if you did

Personally I would like to see some borders for the bottom of the floor models, where they touch the brick. They turn sharply, 90 degrees where they meet. (3rd picture)

How WIP is the screenshots? I see a bunch of models that you could add imo.

Where the hell did you get all of those assets? Textures I understand but those aren't even from AMFP, that's 100% custom?

RE: Screenshot criticism thread - JonnyAnomaly - 09-25-2013

Rapture - Its very WIP at the moment, so there are still more than a few models to go in. But any suggestions for any in particular? Thanks for the feedback.

DamnNoHtml - They are my own assets (except for the urns holding the plants), all the textures come from cgtextures.com originally.

How exactly are you importing those models with the outdated .dae import? Also, give me all of your models please. All of them.

RE: Screenshot criticism thread - JonnyAnomaly - 09-25-2013

I'm importing them using programs/settings recommended on the forum in one of Acies' threads possibly - I am using Maya 2011, with an OpenCollada plugin which works with it that was suggested here somewhere. I'll have a look around and see if I can find the info.

Edit - Here is the page I think: http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-20345.html?highlight=opencollada

I can't remember but I think he will show you how to get the assets into Amnesia.
