Looks, good. I like the scenery. Though, wooden ceiling? That does not fit with the concrete walls.
Try making the ceiling concrete, too.

Also, it might be too dark for me, but if the lamp does not hit every corner of the room with just a little tiny bit of light, then you need to adjust it, so it does.

The only reason I made the ceiling wood was so I could use the caved in ceiling. I actually need it so I guess the ceiling is gonna need to stay. :/

It actually does hit every corner. The back ones are very dim, but lit. It may be the monitor. On mine, it looks too dark if I look straight into it sometimes, but if I stand up or look from a slightly different angle, it looks a lot better haha.

Thanks for the comments. Smile

I say lower the alpha on the dust particles, and make them a bit darker. Dust is not much brighter than the light it's hit by, which in that case (judging by the objects close to it) is way darker than what the dust is now.

Also, dust is rarely floating in the air, without any other dust below it. If you could move the areas down a bit, so they're touching the floor, and then maybe add a "area_fog_falling" (or whatever it's called) in the hole, it'll look better.

Great spot on the dust! I thought it was the wall.

Yes, instead of area_fog use the dust_falling. The dust would only come from above (since there's water on the floor)

Hmm, that sounds great! Should I also make the dust directly under the light a little brighter than the rest?

That would make sense, yes.

That looks great! Yet... I still feel like it's too bright below the trees. Do you use spotlights on those lamp-entities? Because those trees would definitely create shadows!

RE: Screenshot criticism thread - Red - 10-12-2014

Add dem moths around the lamps.
