I looked inside the amnesia/graphics/item folder one day and I was surprised. There were icons for objects that weren't used in the game.
Examples: -Various keys
-Various coins
-A pickaxe and a palm.

Keys: Nothing special.
Coins: Thalers, they were used to open things that require certain ammounts of money. Removed because it didn't seem right to use coins to open chests and stuff.
Pickaxe: Weapon and tool from Penumbra overture. It's also worth noting that the monster used in Amnesias beta was the "Tuurngait" from Penumbra black plague.
