Hello. I am posting here because of my problems with playing Amnesia.
First of all i would like to say that i installed some driver here http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/ot/en/DriversDownLoads/Drivers_Show_4669.html (i have lenovo) i am unable to install drivers which you posted in graphics troubleshooting guide. It is impossible, it writes that graphic adapter cant install these things so they sent me to download this thing from lenovo page
My problem is - when i launch the game everything is ok until I am in Menu. There is just black background with signs like new game options and so on. Also when i start the game i see only these subtitles like - My name is Daniel and again black screen. When subtitles are over nothing happens i just have to end the game. Please help me. I dont know what to do else. I couldnt find anything on google and all of these drivers which you posted here i am unable to install.

You probably need to use the have disk method to update the drivers for the intel hd graphics.
The current problem is that you have updated the drivers for the ATI card but the game tries to use the IntelHD, don't know of any lenevo specific way of solving it, but most gathered information about the ATI/Intel problem is in this thread http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-9942.html Might be that in the control panel for graphics you can force decide what graphics card should be used for specific applications.

If the AMD driver is giving you problems uninstall it, install the Intel HD one using the have disk method and then install the latest AMD one. It doesn't really matter about the AMD since only the Intel HD card will be used for OpenGL games and applications.

it again writes that i have to contact producer of my notebook - lenovo.
also cant install this driver from lenovo page , http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/ot/en/DriversDownLoads/Drivers_Show_4668.html, but again i cant install it it writes that the driver is not verified for my computer. really dont know what to do now.

1) Uninstall the current AMD drivers : http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/GPU57RemoveOldGraphicsDrivers.aspx#windows7
2) Restart
3) Install the latest Intel HD drivers using the have disk method : http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-9942-post-89162.html#pid89162
4) Install the latest AMD driver from Lenovo for your laptop : http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/ot/en/DriversDownLoads/Drivers_Show_4669.html
5) Restart and try the game again. Attach us the HPL.log to see if you managed to update the Intel card.

i have done all things you posted. i just got problems with point 4. i was installing that AMD driver but in the middle of the instalation it wrote that i dont have permission, than it suddenly jumped in some other window (catalyst) and another instalation started. i tried to play the game and nothing has changed. :-(
i dont know why is taht so hard to run it for me, i play other new games like for example fifa 12 without problems.

Step 3 was not done correctly, that's why the game still crashes. For permission problems make sure you run the installer as an Administrator

i installed it i know it 100 percently (i mean that step 3). i am an admin and still dont have permission. looks like i will have to consultate with someone who is better in PCs than i am and that man will fix it manually on my PC :-)

I know that step 3 was not done correctly because the second HPL.log that you gave me still says Build 8.15.10.2279 when it should say after the update Build 8.15.10.2559
